The Queen of Pop does not step back from incorporating political, s**ual, and religious themes in her music which have resulted in controversies as well as critical acclaims. Apart from being one of the legendary artists who has inspired thousands of artists across the world, she also finds herself in the news because of her high-profile relationships. She has recently been linked to a British boxer which has raised eyebrows.

Madonna ‘is not wasting her time’ following her split from Josh Popper

According to a report from Attitude, Madonna has moved on with another professional British boxer, Richard Riakporhe, following her split from her now-ex Josh Popper.

The reports of the two of them parting ways started to create buzz after it was reported a few days ago that the artist and the boxer had not spent any time together in the past seven months. The legendary singer has been on the road for her Celebration World Tour, and an insider shared with The Sun,

Madonna has barely seen Josh for months because her schedule is so hectic. Things just fizzled out. There is genuinely no bad blood—they’re still fond of each other. At the moment, their relationship doesn’t feel feasible, and they’ve cooled things off, but they’re staying friends.

Earlier this year, on Valentine’s Day, Popper took to his social media to share a sweet message for the artist, sharing pictures of them and a caption stating, ‘Missing Portugal’.

Madonna met Josh Popper through her son, who according to reports David Banda, was being coached at his gym in New York City. The artist was back in March 2023 and was spotted cheering the boxer at a boxing match. He also joined the singer on stage during her concert in Brooklyn back in December.

Despite their various PDA-filled moments, the reports suggest that two of them struggled to keep the spark alive, which led to their parting ways. The Sun reported that the artist is no longer wasting her time over her split and is spending time with Richard Riakporhe, whom she met through the fashion world. He is a boxer as well as a model who has walked and modeled in various fashion shows. She has apparently told her close pals that the relationship with Popper has ended.

Madonna sued for explicit visuals on stage and for inflicting emotional distress

The Blast reports that an angry fan has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles against the Queen of Pop and the organizers, alleging that the concertgoers were forced to watch explicit visuals on-stage without a warning. Plaintiff Justen Lipeles claims that the concert, which was scheduled to start at 8:30 PM, started at 10:00 PM, and neither the artist not the organizers had informed the fans. In his lawsuit, Lipeles alleges

The temperature inside the Kia Forum was uncomfortably hot, as required by Madonna, who refused to allow the air conditioning to be turned on. Further, during most of the performance, it was apparent to the plaintiff that Madonna was lip-syncing.

They allege that when the fans complained and voiced their discomfort due to the heat, the artist asked the fans to strip. The lawsuit also claims that the fans including Lipeles were forced to watch topless women on stage simulating s*x acts without a warning. He alleges that it was almost like watching ‘p***graphy without a warning’.

The recent lawsuit comes after a similar lawsuit on behalf of New York attendees Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden has been filed earlier in which they accused the artist of ‘unconscionable, unfair, and/or deceptive trade practices’.

However, according to EW, the artist’s legal team, in response to the lawsuit, mentioned that no reasonable concertgoer especially Madonna’s fans would expect the headline act at a major arena to take the stage at the mentioned time. They also pointed out that no where in the tickets it has been mentioned that singer would take the stage at the printed time.
