It’s not just the metal suit armor that reminds us of Iron Man 2 in The Mandalorian now it is also the storyline that has garnered all the attention towards the similarities between the series and Iron Man 2. After the release of the new episode of The Mandalorian, there is a slew of comments claiming that Mando has become Iron Man 2. With the new revelations coming in the new episodes the storyline is now turning into a disappointment for the viewers. Iron Man 2 was also a disappointment to the people after its release just because of its weak and low-quality storyline.

Season 3 of The Mandalorian witnessed a decline in viewers as per data
Seasons 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian immediately exceeded all expectations. Both seasons drew a large number of viewers and positive feedback about the show’s plot and characters. Unfortunately, this season is not the same. Season 3 peaked with the premiere and has since been gradually declining. Samba TV data from a survey of three million American households across 35 million TVs revealed an equal decline. According to that data, the first episode surpassed Andor by around 50%. Obi-Wan Kenobi and The Book of Boba were also in the race but not ahead of the series The Mandalorian.

A critic from CNN said that the show is going through “experiencing an identity crisis.” One of the viewers of the show wrote,
“This show has transformed out of all recognition. No longer is it the man with no name in space but the man with no purpose in space.”

I’ve really enjoyed Season 3. The fate of Mandalore and the arc of Bo-Katan have been good hooks. That seems to be more of the story than Thrawn.
While Grogu has been featured less and Din has let Bo take the lead, it’s been a more epic season with bigger themes.— David Smalley (@SmalleyDa) April 13, 2023
