Conflicts with other celebrities are nothing new for Eminem. The rapper, songwriter, and record producer has called out a variety of people throughout his career, including members of his family, celebrities, actors, and other rappers. Even celebrities can have their names mentioned in Eminem’s lyrics.

Many fans still recall the 50-year-old artist making a rap about dating Mariah Carey. Carey, on the other hand, vehemently denied that anything ever happened between them. And from there, a nasty feud began.

Since the early 2000s, Mariah Carey and Eminem have been embroiled in a contentious ‘he-said/she-said controversy’ regarding their alleged prior relationship. The rapper insisted their relationship did exist, despite the pop diva’s repeated denials.

One instance of their dispute dates back to 2005 when he allegedly exacted revenge during his Anger Management tour. During the HP Pavilion stop of his tour, Eminem prayed before taking the stage and said, “Lord, please forgive me for what I do.”

The alleged boyfriend of Mariah Carey exacted revenge by singing Puke, and the following 90 minutes was nothing but rage.

The ‘Anger Management Tour’, led by Eminem and 50 Cent, is not what psychiatrists mean when they use the term ‘anger management’.

Hence, his 2005 tour was more like anger ‘unmanagement’. Eminem had picked some of the furious songs from his catalog, ranging from the opening one-two punch of Evil Deeds and Mosh to album tracks like Kill U and Just Don’t Give a F****.

Later, the 50-year-old artist addressed his short-lived relationship with Mariah Carey using the transitional song, Ass Like That. However, he was cut off by a voice over the loudspeaker who identified herself as Carey and demanded his return.

Then, after peeking behind each of the doors that comprised his stage set, he realized Carey wasn’t there. He then acted out his song, Puke‘s line, “You don’t know how sick you make me,by pretending to vomit while singing it.

Benny Medina, Mariah Carey‘s manager, had said that while they respect Eminem as an artist, lately, his music has come across as tasteless and needlessly “cruel“.

Some feuds just never end.

Eminem and Mariah Carey got into a fight after the rapper’s song, Superman was released, in which he claimed to have dated the All I Want for Christmas singer for six months. However, Carey quickly put an end to these rumors and refuted them. Following this, Eminem released a new song with the same message, and this time he included Nick Cannon (Carey’s ex-husband).

Mariah Carey was inspired to release her own song, Obsessed, in response to Eminem’s songs– Superman and Bagpipes From Baghdad, which made claims about their relationship. Obsessed appeared to be in reaction to earlier songs by Eminem. The song also featured a stalker who appeared to be the Puke singer as he was wearing a similar hoodie often worn by the rapper.

The rapper then responded with the rap song, The Warning. But at that point, Mariah Carey had taken a backseat as Nick Cannon responded to Eminem. When this happened, Cannon remarked in an interview,

“At first, I thought it was old material that had been dug up from when dude ‘fantasized’ about having a pretend fling with Mariah. But all of a sudden I hear my name in the verse! My first reaction was like, ‘This is his new sh*t? Wow, that’s too bad’.”

Later, Eminem admitted that while making that song, he was kind of freaking out but hadn’t anticipated Cannon’s reaction.
