“Marriage is a hard, hard gig”: Kevin Costner Blindsided by Wife’s Divorce Decision, Claims No Cheating Involved Despite Scandalous Past
Kevin Costner recently got blindsided by his wife’s (Christine Baumgartner) decision to get a divorce. The actor seemingly had not been anticipating that the idea of separation was on Bahmgartner’s mind. Despite their relationship spanning almost two decades, the decision has come abruptly as far as it can be seen.
As of now, the reason is not clear as to why Costner’s partner came to the decision but as per close sources of the Yellowstone actor, there are no cheating issues involved at this time. His previous marriage ended amid various cheating rumors against him therefore it is a topic that will undoubtedly surface in this case too.

When it comes to Hollywood star Kevin Costner, he has a history of falling into cheating scandals. His previous marriage to Cindy Costner came to an end amid cheating allegations. However, his next relationship, which is with Christine Baumgartner, stayed for a long while.
The couple was able to remain together for 18 years but now it seems that this one will also be ending soon. Recently, Baumgartner filed a divorce from Costner. And as he had been busy filming, the decision reportedly blindsided him.

As per reports from inside sources, the actor did not seem to have anticipated a divorce. Costner does have a history of cheating allegations against him during his previous relationship. And once he even had this to say about temptations outside marriage saying,
” I try to conduct my life with a certain amount of dignity and discretion but marriage is a hard, hard gig.”
However, this time that does not seem to be the case. According to Page Six, a representative of the Bodyguard actor shared concerning a possible “cheating” issue behind the decisions, “absolutely not true.” Furthermore, Baumgartner gave the reason as “Irreconcilable differences” and has asked for joint custody over their three children.

Before he ever got involved with Christine Baumgartner, Kevin Costner was married to his ex-wife Cindy Silva. Their marriage lasted 16 years before finally coming to an end in 1994. Two years later he met Baumgartner on a golf course. At the time Costner had been rehearsing for his role in Tin Cup.
After their romance bloomed they ended up getting married and even had three children between their 18 years of marriage. Unfortunately, this relationship has also come to an end.
