MCU Star Chris Pratt Breaks Silence on Joining DCU After Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3
Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters from DC Studios gave us plenty to talk about, but one of the most exciting developments was the confirmation that a new series based on Booster Gold (a DC comic book series) will soon air on HBO Max. It will not be a simple task to revive the DC Universe for James Gunn. And Booster Gold is a starting character for both heroes and villains in Gunn’s plans, but fans have already made it clear they only want Chris Pratt to be involved.
Now the question of who will play Booster Gold still remains. Fans have started fan-casting Pratt in the DC character because Booster Gold is a rather endearing and humorous character in the comics.
Yes, the same actor who appears destined to play every animated character in existence is amenable to the idea of portraying the rebellious superhuman.
The 43-year-old actor expressed interest in possibly joining the DC Universe in an interview with Rolling Stone while promoting The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Chris Pratt Reacts to Fan Casting of James Gunn’s DC Universe
Chris Pratt addresses the possibility of taking on the role of Booster Gold in James Gunn’s DC Universe. The actor is the face of Gunn’s Marvel Studios franchise, Guardians of the Galaxy, and the two have a long-standing friendship. Their film featuring the group will soon come to an end with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. And his renowned character, Star-Lord, won’t be making any further appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The good news, however, is that Pratt may be able to work with Gunn at DCU. The actor has a good chance of landing the role of Booster Gold because Gunn has indicated a desire to collaborate with the Guardians of the Galaxy cast once again at DC.
When asked about the role of Booster Gold, a character who will have his own series in Gunn’s DC Universe, Pratt replied that he would think about it.
Despite the fact that Pratt admitted he and Gunn have not yet discussed a possible role in Booster Gold, the Jurassic World actor provided a positive response. He said, “If James thought I was right for it, then you know that would I would have to consider it.”
Fans of DC should be thrilled by his comments because they have been hoping for the Passengers actor to play the part ever since it was revealed that Gunn wanted to collaborate with the Guardians of the Galaxy cast.

Reasons He Would Be Ideal For Booster Gold
The actor has demonstrated in his work as Star-Lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that he possesses the special talents needed to play Booster Gold in a live-action setting. Given that Booster Gold is one of DC’s funniest additions to the comics, Chris Pratt’s mastery of comedy is essential to the character.
His performance as Star-Lord proves that he is especially suited to Booster’s special sense of humor. Even in situations where he is obviously over his head, Booster Gold always exudes an extreme amount of confidence, true to his showboating personality.
That element of the role appeals to Pratt’s sensibilities because his character, Star-Lord (the leader of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy), also has a roguish, arrogant, and humorous personality. Although Booster is best known for his antics, irresponsibility, and humor, the character is also one, who has significant trauma buried deep inside.
There isn’t a release date yet for the Booster Gold series.
