Tom Holland has given the best of his efforts in making his latest Apple TV+ miniseries, The Crowded Room. The series premiered on 9 June, starting with the first three episodes before the next seven are released weekly. Holland admitted that the process took a toll on him emotionally, not least because he’s still on the ‘learning curve’ as a producer.

Tom Holland To Take A Year-Long Break From Acting

Hollywood actor, Tom Holland has decided to take a year’s break from acting. In a recent interview with Extra, the actor said that filming his latest project, Apple TV+’s upcoming miniseries The Crowded Room, induced the decision.

Tom Holland explained, “I’m no stranger to hard work,” “I’ve lived by the idea that hard work is good work. Then again, the show did break me. There did come a time where I needed a break and disappeared and went to Mexico for a week and had time on a beach and laid low. I’m now taking a year off, and that is a result of how difficult this show was.”

Despite the tough filming process, Holland was hopeful and excited for the final outcome. Holland both produced and stars in The Crowded Room. The actor said, “We were exploring certain emotions that I have definitely never experienced before,”  “And on top of that, being a producer, dealing with the day-to-day problems that come with any film set, just added that extra level of pressure.”

Though Holland won’t be taking up any further projects this year, The Crowded Room will mark the actor’s last project for the foreseeable future.
