Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan are a powerhouse duo. Most of Jordan’s best-known works have been under Coogler’s creative direction. His roles as a shooting victim, Oscar Grant in the drama Fruitvale Station (2013), boxer Adonis Creed in Creed (2015), and Erik Killmonger in Black Panther (2018) brought him immense stardom and critical acclaim.

Recently, there have been reports circulating that this dynamic duo is all set to join hands again in an upcoming mystery project, and fans are already hyped. To add more excitement to the already bursting bubbles, there is a fresh report from an industry insider that the movie will be about vampires.

Popularized by works like The Vampire Diaries or Twilight, movies and shows about vampires have always been a great boost for box office numbers when done right. If one thought Robert Pattinson and Ian Somerhalder took their breath away, prepare to be asphyxiated with Michael B. Jordan playing a slick vampire on screen for Ryan Coogler.

According to trusted industry insider Jeff Sneider, the actor is all set to grow out fangs for this upcoming movie. It is rumored to be a period film, so it would be interesting to see how the vision of it materializes. According to reports by The Hollywood Reporter, the movie will be based on an original speculative script by Coogler, which will be his second work after Fruitvale Station. Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian will serve as lead producers alongside Ryan Coogler.

Not much is known about the project so far as the secrecy around it would put many Marvel and DC film hypes to shame. Executives and buyers are going to the Beverly Hills office of WME, the agency that is presently representing Coogler and Jordan, to access the script and gather details. It looks like mere mortals have to wait a bit longer to get any official confirmation or announcement.

Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger in the Black Panther movies is easily the creme de la creme of the MCU. According to Giant Freakin Robot, Marvel fans can rejoice as they exclusively reported that Michael B. Jordan is set to appear in at least two more MCU projects in the future.

Before Black Panther 2 came out, Michael B Jordan came clean to ExtraTV and revealed whether he had any plans to return to the MCU.

“I don’t know if it’s a possibility. I mean, at one point or another, being able to be in the Marvel Universe was like a dream come true and if there was an opportunity for me to come back, of course I would. I’m not one of those guys like ‘oh no, I would never.’ Working with Ryan [Coogler], what we did on that first project and what Marvel does as a whole is something that, as a fan, as a nerd and geek that I am, I just love to see those movies and those characters come to life.”

Michael B. Jordan was seen last in What If…? briefly before having his own episode. It would be pretty cool to see his character reprising his Killmonger role or appearing in some other roles in the comic book universe.
