Danny Masterson, the renowned American actor known for portraying Steve Hyde in ‘That ‘70s Show’, has had his time with a diverse career. Directed by John Woo, Face/Off is an action thriller that centers around an intense game of cat-and-mouse between Sean Archer, FBI special agent, and Castor Troy, the terrorist, roles played by John Travolta and Nicolas Cage. Masterson had a supporting role in it. He played the role of a henchman of Castor Troy, Karl. The movie, known for the action sequences and the face transplantation unique premise, had Troy and Archer literally swapped faces.

2. Starsky & Hutch (2004)

This is a 2004 comedy film that’s been directed by Todd Phillips. It is based on a television series from the 1970s’ which is of the same name. In it appeared Ben Stiller as David Starsky and Owen Wilson as Ken ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson, the detectives and 2 unconventional cops who try to solve Bay City crimes. In the film, Danny Masterson had a supporting role. He played the role of an informant, Kevin, who assisted Hutch and Starsky with the investigations.

3. The Good Guys (2010)

The comedy series of 2010 is regarding 2 mismatched detectives, Jack Bailey (Colin Hanks) and Dan Stark (Bradley Whitford). Created by Matt Nix, the series is set in Dallas, Texas. It follows the lives of the detectives while they solve crimes. Danny Masterson appeared in a recurring role in this series. He played the role of Detective Frank Savage, the young by-the-book public servant who worked alongside the duo of unconventional detectives.

4. Men at Work (2012-2014)

The Ranch, is a comedy series of 8 parts. Danny Masterson portrayed an important character Jameson Rooster Bennett in this series which is available on Netflix. Rooster is shown as an easygoing and witty character who worked alongside his family in Colorado. Masterson’s performance in it added authenticity and humor, which was needed to portray the ranch life and the family dynamics. As known, Rooster’s role was one of the fan favorites, and the absence of his in the later seasons brought in notable development.

Danny Masterson Career- A Pause or an End?

Danny Masterson has been charged with 3 counts of r*pe. Even though he denied the allegations and pleaded to be non-guilty, the evidence proved otherwise. Later, he was sentenced to 30 years in prison. The conviction shadowed his career, getting him fired from the acting projects. His name was removed from all promotional materials for The Real World and The Ranch.

Despite all, it is yet to be seen how the conviction would affect Hollywood’s future.
