It is no surprise that Kendall Jenner was awarded the Daily Front Row’s Fashion Icon of the Decade Award in 2017. Although some have criticized the choice because of Jenner’s relatively brief career, what it means is that Jenner had the destiny to succeed. According to Cosmopolitan reports, the supermodel read a letter she wrote to herself as a freshman at age 14 that predicted her future success in the fashion world.
In addition to being part of the Kardashian clan, she’s also one of the biggest supermodels of this generation, having landed many international Vogue covers, walked the most prestigious runways, and appeared in major fashion campaigns. While the 27-year-old has much to be grateful for, she probably owes a lot to her 14-year-old self.
Kendall Jenner Read A Letter She Wrote As A Teen
27-year-old supermodel Kendall Jenner appeared in The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2017, revealing why she didn’t care about being on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and reading a letter she wrote to herself seven years ago predicting her fame. Following a quick round of ‘Pup Quiz,’ Jenner discussed her career with the host.
Jenner told Jimmy Fallon that she started her career as a dog walker in the Calabasas area at age ten. She was too busy with homework and friends to care about Keeping Up With The Kardashians around this time. The model’s passions had changed somewhat by the time she was 14, in the hit show’s fifth season. Despite Jenner’s famously tight-lipped nature, Fallon somehow managed to get her to read a letter she wrote herself years ago.
Besides being hilarious, her letter is also prophetic, as she described her desire to be an internationally renowned model.
The Letter read,
“Dear me, I am on my freshman retreat, which is boring. But I met new people, so I guess that’s good. I am modeling right now, and I love it. I am also on a show called Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and we are filming season 5. Soon, we will be filming season 6. My goal is to become a big-time model and travel to amazing places. I hope it happens… I’m 14 years old. I just thought I would say that, lol. And I’m excited to read this in the future.”
It looks like Jenner is a pro at manifesting her dreams. She was probably unaware of the whole thing when she was 14.
