Nick Cannon Slammed By Swifties
Nick Cannon made headlines with his statement about the Shake It Off singer Taylor Swift. The influential songwriter just had a breakup with her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn. The brand new single singer became a victim of Nick Cannon’s misogynistic statements on The Howard Stern Show. On being asked if he would like to date or have kids with Taylor Swift, the actor went on to say-
“Absolutely, I’m in — let’s go … That’s the one! First of all, she’s an amazing songwriter. What I do love about Taylor Swift is that she has been so vulnerable and open with all of her music. Me and Taylor’s numbers are very similar when we’re talking about being on these streets. So, I think she would relate to me very well. We probably would really understand each other.”
Due to his distasteful and misogyny-laden comments, Nick Cannon was blasted by Taylor Swift’s fans. The Swifties slammed the actor for his opinions. A Twitter user even went on to tweet-
“Get a job/stay away from her etc, but also, please notice how he has decided that Taylor Swift’s body is available to him just because she’s single now. This is how straight men display casual misogyny, in the guise of “jokes.”
Joe Alwyn and Taylor Swift’s separation had already devastated Swifties, they were coping with the sad news, when Nick Cannon came up with his weird commentary on the Blank Space singer.
