Official Updated MCU Timeline Released By Marvel
Marvel has come up with an official update regarding the new MCU timeline to coincide with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ release and now more recently Ms. Marvel on the Disney+ streaming platform. We also have the forthcoming and much-anticipated Thor: Love and Thunder releasing in theaters – but obviously, Marvel is not going to confirm anything about that movie’s timeline until the film hits the theaters.
“Here is the MCU in Timeline Order for Disney+ — as of now! — and stay tuned for what happens next!
Here’s the updated MCU timeline, in chronological order:

- Captain Marvel
- Iron Man
- Iron Man 2

- Ms. Marvel
As we reported earlier, the real surprise is having Doctor Strange 2 happen after the events of Eternals.
Doctor Strange 2 Happened After The Events Of Eternals – How?
Yes, Eternals hit the theaters before Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness, but MCU fans have been arguing that the Master of Mystic Arts and Doctor Strange should’ve known of what happened in Eternals – and until now, we haven’t received any good explanation as to why they had no clue about it or they didn’t mention it.
Obviously, the explanation could be as easy as the events of Doctor Strange 2 which happen in such really close proximity to Eternals, and thereby, there was no time. As the case with MCU, the devil always lies in the details.
As stated, this update of the timeline will not be lasting long, with Love and Thunder barely weeks away from its worldwide release. We also have She-Hulk on Disney+, a mysterious Halloween special, and another Holiday Special of Guardians of the Galaxy which will all arrive in 2022 – not forgetting Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. So we would advise you to not get way too attached to the ongoing MCU timeline slate, as it might shift, real quick.
You may watch Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Ms. Marvel on Disney+ now.
