Paranoid Charlie Sheen Threw Furniture at Wife Denise Richards After She Took Their Kids To Get Vaccinated, Even Threatened Pediatrician for ‘Poisoning’ His Daughter
Charlie Sheen has been on the news for several negative reasons, listing from domestic violence, substance abuse, and s*xual assaults, to much more. A lesser-known reason for the actor to be in the headlines was attacking one of his ex-wives, Denise Richards, and threatening his children’s pediatrician over vaccines. Sheen’s anger management issues surfaced over the course of time, however, it was rarely a problem. Despite Sheen’s unconventional behavior, his fame was left untouched.
The actor made news when TMZ covered an issue brought up by Richards regarding her children’s well-being and Sheen interfering in between. Despite calling Sheen her “soulmate” and marrying him in 2002, the diligent actress soon realized her mistake, which led to instances of domestic violence finally piling up to their divorce.
Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen’s short-lived marriage
Denise Richards, the extremely talented and self-built American actress was quite unlikely to marry Charlie Sheen, the ultimate controversial actor in Hollywood. However, to everyone’s surprise, Richards and Sheen tied the knot in 2002 when the actress was drunk in love with Sheen and called him her “soulmate”. The couple enjoyed a short yet blissful married life until their first daughter, Sami, arrived in 2004.
The young mother had a lot of time to contemplate and realized the “marriage was crumbling, and fast”. Soon she was expecting her second daughter Lola in 2005 when Richards and Sheen finalized their divorce. Richards revealed in an interview “I said to myself: ‘Would I want my daughters to be married to this man?’” Her decision was difficult and yet final. She shared how she “felt guilty for splitting up the family unit.” and further she “struggled with that for years”.
Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen’s marriage was a shock to the world, even more, shocking was their divorce papers that mentioned Sheen’s idea about vaccines. It was mentioned in the divorce paper how Sheen wanted to keep his children away from “common vaccinations because he thinks they will be harmed”.
Charlie Sheen’s paranoia gets the best of him
Denise Richards filed for divorce in 2005 and finally got legally separated from Charlie Sheen in 2006 with custody of her daughters. The former couple had a troubled marriage and so was their divorce, for the papers included strict decisions made by Sheen about their children’s wellbeing. Sheen’s “paranoia regarding medical needs for the girls” got the better of him.
It was reported that Richards and Sheen had been engaging in heated arguments regarding the well-being of their children. However, in 2008, as per Rolling Stones, the argument between Sheen and Richards took a dangerous turn when things started becoming physical. It was reported that Sheen physically attacked Richards over the vaccine disagreements, by throwing a chair at her.
Things were no longer limited to the former family, it was directed outwards when Sheen not only failed to stop Richards but also failed to control his anger. Sheen initially tried to stop Richards by calling her a “bad mother” who was apparently “poisoning” their children with vaccines. It was further reported that the paranoid actor called the pediatrician and “threatened her on the phone, leading the pediatrician to ‘fire’ the Sheens.”
The legal battle between Sheen and Richards went to court following their battles over needles which were eventually won by Denise Richards. Further, it was revealed, the former couple despite ending on bad terms has found a civilized way in between and got back to good terms, once again.
