1. Johnny Depp along with Lily-Rose Depp in Yoga Hosers
Yoga Hosers was Lily-Rose Depp’s feature film debut back in 2016. Johnny Depp starred in the movie alongside his daughter. The movie revolves around two fifteen-year-old girls who visit a party. They end up getting arrested for the murder of a senior. However, they need to fight against the “Nazi” clone army to prove themselves innocent.
It’s a comedy horror film which sees the girls team up with a man-hunter to destroy an ancient evil. And if you didn’t guess it already, let us tell you, the movie didn’t exactly do well. But maybe you could give it a try yourself. The IMDb rating for the film is 4.3/10 while it got 23% on Rotten Tomatoes. Yikes.
2. Tom Hanks along with Colin Hanks in The Great Buck Howard
The movie “The Great Buck Howard” starred Colin Hanks and we saw him team up with his father Tom Hanks for some father-son bonding. The plot of the movie goes like this, “Going against his father and dropping out of the law school, the aspiring writer Troy Gable is looking to gain some meaningful experience in life. Troy does get that and much more when he decides to take up a job with Buck Howard. Buck is a vainglorious mentalist who is hoping to reinvigorate his dying career by staging a huge comeback.”
It is a comedy/drama film and has a decent rating of 6.4/10 on IMDb and a 71% on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie stars Emily Blunt and John Malkovich as well. It’s worth a watch!
3. Meryl Streep along with Mamie Gummer in Ricki and The Flash
The movie saw Meryl Streep star opposite her daughter in the family comedy film. The plot is that years after Ricki had followed her passion to become a rockstar, certain circumstances demand her to return for her family. Her daughter is getting a divorce and she comes home to look after her. While she tried her best to help them out, the family doesn’t immediately accept her.
This isn’t the first time the duo appeared in a movie together. They had even appeared in the “Evening”. Ricki and the Flash has an IMDb rating of 5.9/10 and a 65% on Rotten Tomatoes.
4. Angelina Jolie along with Vivienne Jolie-Pitt in Maleficent
When their parents are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, it is only a matter of time before the kids start their acting careers in movies. Vivienne made her debut in Maleficent where she played the younger version of Aurora.
5. Gwyneth Paltrow along with Blythe Danner in Sylvia
Gwyneth Paltrow was already a big name by the time she starred in Sylvia (2003) along with her mom. The film is about Young Sylvia Plath who dreams of becoming an important writer. We see her go through the emotional loss of her father, her battle with depression, and even falling in love with Ted Hughes.
While the movie got a rating of 6.3/10 on IMDb, its Rotten Tomatoes rating is 36%.
