Recently, at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, Pascal’s work was acknowledged as he won the Male TV Star of the Year. This recognition holds immense significance in the actor’s career, as he’s currently one of the most popular personalities in both TV and films. The Wonder Woman 1984 star couldn’t attend the event as he was in Vancouver, but as shared by People’s Choice on Instagram, Pedro Pascal said:
“I so wish I could be with all of you guys, you have no idea how much I wish I could be with you. I’ll start by recognizing the incredible fortune of having been chosen by the incredible creators of the show… Seriously, I wouldn’t have a character without them, and we wouldn’t have a show if it weren’t for our incredible crew, so, a huge shout-out to them.”
While expressing gratitude toward the entire team of The Last of Us, Pedro Pascal also mentioned his young co-star Bella Ramsey, who played the second titular role in the series. The actor concluded by taking fans for their tremendous support and said:
“But the biggest fortune is to receive this award on behalf of the people, the fans. At the end of the day, it’s all about you… so you have my deepest gratitude. Thank you, and peace.”
This award season had The Last of Us shining in almost every award event. Pascal recently made headlines over his MCU role, and fans couldn’t stop praising the actor for having notable roles in the three most recognized franchises.
Pedro Pascal To Wrap Up The Last of Us Season 2 Before He Begins Fantastic Four
It’s worth noting that Pedro Pascal has played roles in DCEU’s Wonder Woman 1984, and Star Wars’ The Mandalorian, and now he’s stepping into another big franchise. His role as Reed Richards in the upcoming Fantastic Four has gained immense attention as fans are eagerly awaiting the MCU vs DCU faceoff in 2025.
As James Gunn‘s rebooted DCU will initiate next year through its debut film Superman: Legacy, Pascal’s film will also be set for the same month’s release. While the faceoff is going to be thrilling, we wonder who wins at the box-office race. However, the anticipation for both movies is beyond high, as with the new films comes an entirely new cast and stories.
