Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell’s rapport could not be hidden on the sets of the romantic comedy Anyone But You. The rumored couple met on the sets of their upcoming movie and the series of extra friendly photos and videos of both the actors reveal so much about their friendship. Recently, Sydney Sweeney addressed the dating rumors with Glen Powell during a chat with Good Weekend. She went on to squash the speculations about her dating life. The 25-year-old actor insisted that it was ‘all acting’.
She said-
“I mean, it’s honestly… we filmed a romantic comedy! So, of course, people see what they want to see. But really, they saw us on set. All those pictures are of us in character, so of course that’s what we’re gonna do.”
Speaking about the rumors the actor added,- “I think, you know, it just proves that we’re great actors.”
Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney appeared together to promote their film at the Cinema Con in Las Vegas and were engaged in a playful banter for the audience. The Top Gun star said-
“We love seeing ourselves on the big screen. I love when she calls me [Top Gun]. Anyway, as you can maybe guess, this movie is about two people that hate each other. And what better place to put a nightmare and an a–hole than on the other side of the world, in the most romantic setting imaginable?”
The White Lotus star Sydney Sweeney is engaged to Jonathan Davino, and Glen Powell, was romantically involved to model Gigi Paris. The duo separated after being together for three years.
Sydney Sweeney’s grandfather and dad turned Euphoria off and left the room
Sydney Sweeney’s Euphoria made her a sensation overnight, but her portrayal of Cassie was simply not liked by her own parents. The actor spoke about this in a preview clip from this weekend’s upcoming Sunday Today With Willie Geist. The Reality actor mentioned that her mother already knew about her role as she often visited her on the set. She said-
“My mom visited me on set at the time, so she knew the story and I talked to her a lot about it — my dad didn’t. Yeah, I didn’t prepare my dad. At all. I mean, how do you bring it up in conversation? And also, when I talk to my dad, it’s usually not about work. We talk, like, father-daughter conversations. He decided he was going to watch it, without telling me, with his parents.”
She even spoke about how her show was disliked by her father and granddad and that they had simply switched off the television. Sydney Sweeney said-
“My dad and my grandpa turned it off and walked out. But my grandma is a big supporter of mine. She’s a big fan of mine. Actually, I bring her, usually, all over the world to my different sets and I make her an extra.”
Euphoria would be returning for season 3, although a premiere date has not yet been confirmed by its creators.
