Pique’s Parents, Who Knew Their Son Was Cheating on Shakira in Her Own Home, Reportedly Very Happy With His New Girlfriend Clara Chia Marti

Gerard Piqué and Shakira have been the hot topic of conversation for months following their split. Although their separation came as a shock, Piqué’s infidelity with Clara Chia Marti simply bewildered the world. Having several altercations by the end of their relationship, led the world to believe the former footballer was the mastermind behind his affair.

Shakira’s constant arguments with Piqué’s mother, Montserrat Bernabeu coming into the spotlight amid the drama, made people realize how Bernabeu played the role of an accomplice in her son’s infidelity. Straining her son’s relationship with the singer, it seems Bernabeu prefers Clara Chia Marti for her son.

Shakira’s mother-in-law played the mastermind

It comes as the Colombian singer Shakira is quite happy following her bitter split with her partner, Gerard Piqué. Making a cruel dig at the singer, the former footballer engaged in a romantic affair with Clara Chia Marti, thus destroying his 11-year-old relationship. His secret affair led to several altercations with the Colombian singer, which eventually made their relationship tense until the singer found out about his affair. 

Although Gerard Piqué was labeled the “cheating mastermind”, it seems the Barcelona footballer had external help. Considering the fact that he wasn’t great at hiding empty jars of strawberry jams, it’s obvious, without help he would have failed miserably at hiding his affair as well. The mastermind behind the affair not only shocked the 46-year-old but the world at large. Getting constant help from none other than his own mother – Montserrat Bernabeu, Piqué successfully continued his indefinitely. 

Often spending time with Clara Chia Marti at his parents’ house, as well as his apartment where he lived with Shakira, Piqué engaged in a romantic affair without remorse. According to reports by El Popular, Montserrat Bernabeu knew about her son’s infidelity and even helped him cover up the reported affair. Encouraging Piqué to be with Marti over Shakira, Bernabeu allowed her son to have alleged intimacy with Marti, while the singer was out on tour.

Montserrat Bernabeu bonding with Clara Chia Marti

With confirmation from sources and reports from journalists, it was revealed, Montserrat Bernabeu preferred Clara Chia Marti over Shakira. Journalists claimed,

“Everything is because when the relationship between Piqué and Clara Chía began, they took refuge in a house that Piqué’s parents have in Cabrils”.

Thus informing about how the Colombian singer’s mother-in-law ditched her and encouraged her son to continue his affair. 

“While Shakira cried on her mother-in-law’s shoulder, she was an accomplice in hiding this new relationship” reports claimed. Heartbroken over the betrayal from not just Piqué, but also her mother-in-law, the 46-year-old penned a scathing diss track dedicated to the footballer and his new girlfriend. She also erected a human-sized witch on her balcony facing Montserrat Bernabeu’s house.

However, nothing worked, as her former partner and his family continued their life allowing a homely feel to Clara Chia Marti. Betraying Shakira and making her life miserable to the extent that she was bound to leave Spain for Miami, Montserrat Bernabeu found a best friend in Marti. Following Shakira’s departure, Piqué and his family were snapped enjoying a fun time with his new beau, Clara Chia Marti.
