‘Population on Mars is Still Zero’: Elon Musk Reacts to Rumours of Fathering Secret Twins With Employee Shivon Zilis, Says He’s Doing it for Mars, Not Earth
Billionaire Elon Musk recently revealed that he has twins with Shivon Zilis, one of Tesla’s executives. They welcomed the twins last November. Elon Musk now has nine children, five with Justine Wilson, two with Shivon Zilis, and two with Grimes, the Canadian musician. Though the CEO tried to keep it a secret, it is a little hard when you are as famous as he is.
Elon Musk joked about it on Twitter
He tried his best to hide the news but when it came into the spotlight, he addressed it in one of his tweets. He tweeted, “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far.” following it with another tweet that said, “I hope you have big families and congrats to those who already do!“. On May 24th, the SpaceX owner and Tesla CEO tweeted about the falling birthrate in the US. He tweeted, “USA birth rate has been below min sustainable levels for ~50 years. (The) past two years have been a demographic disaster” along with a graph that supported his statement.

Shivon Zilis is a top executive at Neuralink. She met Elon Musk when she was a Project Director at Tesla, and they have been close to each other ever since. They welcomed the twins just a few weeks before the billionaire and Grimes had their second child. Reports say that the children will “have their father’s last name and contain their mother’s last name as part of their middle name.”
