The revelations made by these tax documents led to speculation that American talk show host Oprah Winfrey was the one who made the largest donation. The interview caused quite a stir on the internet because the royal couple made some shocking revelations about the British royal family. Inside details about the royal family were also trending on the internet for a very long time.

Prince Harry donated $3 million to his NGO Archewell foundation as a part of his $20 million advance for his autobiography Spare. The charitable organization distributed $3,096,319 in grant funding, accounting for 24% of its income, and had $9,018,590 in reserves at the end of 2021.

The 2021 document also revealed that the Archewell Foundation’s CEO, James Holt, earned a $59,846 yearly salary as well as nearly $3,832 in other perks in 2021. Aside from Holt, the charitable foundation still employs at least two other people, along with an administrative assistant and a delivery program manager.

When Markle and Prince Harry decided to step down as senior royals, they said,

“The Firm” would “provide our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity.”

The NGO was one of the most significant additions to their lives after the royal couple stepped down. The Archewell Foundation’s mission is to build a better world online, rebuild trust in information, and, most importantly uplift communities.
