We were all hoping that Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir, Spare, would contain some shocking revelations. However, the biggest surprise from the book has been revealed just a few days before its scheduled release date of January 10th. Now, according to a new report, Prince Harry claims in the book that his brother, Prince William, and father, Prince Charles, along with his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, encouraged him to dress as a Nazi for a Halloween party in 2005. The younger brother, who is fifth in line to the British throne, also wrote in the book how Prince William, the heir to the throne, assaulted him physically during a dispute over the former’s wife, American actress Meghan Markle.

Did Prince William make Prince Harry wear a Nazi uniform?

According to the leaked information from the book, the incident happened in 2019 at Prince Harry’s Nottingham Cottage, where he was residing at the time on the grounds of Kensington Palace. Currently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reside in the American state of California with their two children, Archie Harrison, and Lilibet “Lili” Diana.  According to sources, Prince Harry states in Spare that he debated whether to go as a Nazi or a pilot for the ‘Native and Colonial’-themed party. Prince William, who was also present, was dressed as a lion. The last time Prince Harry addressed his decision to wear the offensive outfit was in his Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, where he called it “one of the biggest mistakes of my life.”

The prince said in the documentary released last month that he wanted to “make it right”, even though Prince Harry had apologized at the time. The Duke of Sussex said, “all I wanted to do was make it right,” and that while he “could’ve just ignored it and probably made the same mistakes over and over again,” he chose to learn from the situation.

Prince William Furious after Prince Harry accused him of assaulting Meghan Markle

Prince Harry reports in Spare that Prince William had come over to discuss their strained relationship and the difficulties with the press. But he was already furious at that time. Prince Harry claims that his older brother criticized Meghan Markle during the conversation, calling her “difficult,” “rude,” and “abrasive.” In response, Prince Harry stated that he thought better of his brother’s presence of mind, but in contrast, he acted similarly to that of the press. This most recent report comes in the wake of another startling revelation made on Wednesday when Prince Harry claimed that Prince William physically assaulted him during a heated argument over his wedding with Markle.

According to the account, Prince William informed Prince Harry that he wasn’t acting rationally, which caused the two to start shouting at one another and trading insults. Though, Prince William once said he was trying to assist his younger brother. Prince Harry’s comment angered his elder brother, who swore while coming towards him. Prince Harry said that this made him afraid. Relations between the two brothers remained tense at the funerals of their grandparents, Prince Philip in April 2021 and Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022.

Will Prince Harry be able to reconcile with his brother and the rest of the family? Releasing the book and the Netflix series at the same time seems to have made it more challenging.
