Prince Williams Burns All Bridges With Brother Prince Harry After Netflix Documentary With Meghan Markle Dragged Dead Mother Princess Diana to Shame King Charles
The heir to the British royal throne, Prince William and Prince Harry were supportive of each other before Meghan Markle came into the latter’s life. After her arrival, things started to change in the royal family which the couple opened up about in their recently released docuseries, Harry & Meghan. Their brotherhood started to deteriorate further when the pair announced stepping down as senior members of the family.
The tension between the brothers heightened which was evidently seen on many occasions. In the six-episode docuseries, the former military pilot opened up about an incident that split the brothers apart.
Prince Harry Took a Jab at The Heir to The British Throne
The royal brothers, Prince William and Prince Harry used to be very close due to the hardships they went through together. However, their relationship became shakier when the latter with his wife, Meghan Markle announced to quit the royal family in 2020.
In a discussion regarding their exit from the family, the 38-year-old prince shared that his older brother screamed at him in front of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
“It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me, and my father [King Charles III] say things that just simply weren’t true, and my grandmother [Queen Elizabeth II] quietly sit there and just take it all in,” he claimed.
After his comments in the six-episode docuseries, Harry & Meghan, seems the heir to the throne had no intentions to make his relationship work with his brother.
Prince William Had No Intention of Reconciliation
As the Netflix docuseries continues to be in limelight, it is reported that the Duke of Cambridge has no intention to reconcile with his younger brother.
As per reports, insiders close to the royal brothers claimed that the Prince of Wales “has no intention of connecting with Harry any time soon.”
According to a friend close to the older son of King Charles III and the late Princess Diana,
“I don’t think a great deal has really surprised anyone. It has been pretty obvious that things have been very strained for a while. There is sadness at where things currently are with his brother.”
The bombshell Netflix series used a clip from the now-disgraced interview Martin Bashir obtained from the BBC of the controversial 1995 Panorama interview of Princess Diana. In that clip, the late Princess of Wales was heard stating “there were three of us in the marriage,” referring to the alleged affair of her husband, King Charles III then had with Camilla Parker-Bowles. She also opened up about being driven away into media scrutiny.
The now-heir to the throne had previously mentioned that the disgraced clip “holds no legitimacy and should never be aired again.” Although Prince Harry does not seem to share the same sentiments, as he used the clip for his own docuseries.
The Netflix series, Harry & Meghan is streaming now.
