Kelly Ripa was apparently not treated very well by the show ‘Live’, even though she was a co-host of the program. In a tell-all interview, Ripa spilled the beans and revealed juicy details of her early days with the network. The ‘Live’ co-host vented her frustration and revealed that for four long years, she was deprived of a bathroom at the office, even though she was the face of the show.

Further, she revealed that despite co-hosting the popular television show, she wasn’t even allotted a decent office to work in and had to manage with a janitor’s closet. All these revelations cast a light on the sad state of affairs in the show. This adds to the dozens of controversies that are attached to the show and further degrades its reputation among people.

Kelly Ripa revealed in a recent interview with Variety that she had to share a public bathroom with the audience during her first four years co-hosting Live with Regis and Kelly, even though her co-host Regis Philbin had a private bathroom. The powerful media mogul claims she had a hard time on the show during its early years.

She told the outlet,

“We have a studio audience — like 250 people! — and I have to queue up. Particularly when I was pregnant, it was extraordinarily exhausting to have to wait in line. I have to host the show, and I’m still waiting in line to use the bathroom.“

She continued,

“It just seemed, you know, a very needlessly difficult situation. What did tourists think of me having to stand in line to pee? They couldn’t believe it either.”

The All My Children actress claims that her early days on the show were challenging. Ripa also revealed that she didn’t have a permanent office at the studio, even though she had been co-hosting the show with late host Regis Philbin for several years. Ripa claimed she was forced to use a janitor’s closet as her cabin.
