LeBron James is the first NBA player to accumulate $1 billion in earnings as an active player. He has been featured in various books, documentaries, and television commercials. Outside of the court, King James is equally popular amongst celebrities in Hollywood as much as he is popular in court amongst basketball players. However, James’ connection to P. Diddy may cause him some challenges, especially after Diddy’s arrest.

LeBron James claims, ‘Ain’t no party like Diddy party’ in a resurfaced video

Basketball legend LeBron James can find himself in hot waters in his connection with Diddy Combs as a video of him describing a record producer’s party has resurfaced on the Internet. The Lakers star had joined Sean Diddy Combs on an Instagram Live where he said (via The Sun),

Hey, everybody knows, ain’t no party like a Diddy party.

James, just like the other celebrities, has been called out for his interactions with Combs, who was recently arrested in Manhattan on various charges. Where there is no evidence that James was involved in any of Combs’ alleged crimes, people have used the video as a way to link the two.

A lot of LeBron James’ fans have expressed their concern by stating that they are hoping that his connection with Sean Diddy Combs does not tarnish his legacy. Conservative commentator Candance Owens shared on her YouTube Channel;

Is LeBron James going to weigh in on his friend’s ‘freak offs’? I mean, we hear from ‘the king’ on virtually every political issue, so this seems like an odd one to stay quiet about.

LeBron James unfollowed Sean Diddy Combs on Instagram in May, when things were just starting to stir up. There is no clear evidence about the connection between James and Diddy, but James’ son Bryce was spotted on a vacation with Combs’ daughters when Diddy’s allegations started to become public.

Talking about the infamous Diddy parties, it has attracted celebrities including Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian, Ashton Kutcher, Beyoncé, and many more. No celebrity has been named in the lawsuit brought against Diddy as of now.

Drake unfollows LeBron James on social media

LeBron James, ahead of the NBA season, might have just suffered a loss, which is that Canadian rapper Drake has now unfollowed the player on social media. According to Bleacher’s report, the cause of their rift could be the fact that James attended Drake’s rival Kendrick Lamar’s ‘The Pop Out: Ken & Friends’ concert in June. The pictures and videos were shared online, and the players seemed to have a lot of fun at the concert.

The feud between Drake and Lamar is a long-running beef, and at the time, it reached a point where the two rappers were constantly trying to eat each other up with their respective diss tracks. The Mirror reports that Drake’s decision to unfollow James was spotted on Tuesday, but it has been rumored that they haven’t been on good terms for a while now.

Ahead of the Paris Olympics, Drake shared a picture with Stephen Curry, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Kevin Durant wearing Team USA uniforms to show his support. Fans were quick to notice that he did not share a picture with LeBron James, who is also a significant part of the team and one of the high-profile players. The two of them have previously supported and appreciated each other’s achievements online, and it has not gone unnoticed by the fans.

In 2023, when James broke the record, Drake, in a pre-recorded message, said, ‘What a legendary night in NBA history. You’re breaking the all-time scoring record.’

LeBron James’ resurfaced video in connection with P Diddy and Drake unfollowing him after he attended Kendrick Lamar’s concert in June is seemingly a lot for King James as he gears up for the 22nd season in the NBA.
