Robert De Niro reveals having fun shooting his flopped film
Robert De Niro is a legendary icon in Hollywood and has worked in several iconic films. The actor was part of The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle. The perplexing animated film was a relaunch of the corresponding animated series. It made box office history by being one of the biggest flops of all time.
The film that came out in the early 2000s was a failure in every possible way. In both the original TV series and the spin-off film, De Niro voiced Fearless Leader, a cop, and Rocky and Bullwinkle’s longtime foe. The comedy movie had a 43% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and collected $35 million worldwide.
Fans and critics consider it the worst film of the 80-year-old actor. Despite that, the Godfather actor had fun making the film. He shared his strong opinions during an interview with Total Films. The actor said,
“I had fun. I had a good time on Rocky and Bullwinkle.”
At least there was someone who enjoyed The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, as the film was a huge flop at the box office. The animated movie followed Rocky and Bullwinkle on a mission to stop their rivals Boris, Natasha, and Fearless Leader from carrying out their evil plan in the real world. To stop the trio, the duo joins forces with a young FBI agent.

Robert De Niro has reunited with Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio for the upcoming film Killers of the Flower Moon. The drama movie premiered at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival in France and is already predicted to win the awards season with a 97% Rotten Tomatoes rating
The first trailer for De Niro’s next film, based on David Grann’s 2017 book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI, was released by Apple Original Films.
The film revolves around the serial killings of members of the Osage Nation, who became wealthy after oil was discovered on their property in the 1920s.
The cast of the film includes DiCaprio, De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Brendan Fraser, Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, and many others. Killers of the Flower Moon will have a limited release on October 6 in a few theatres and expand on October 20 before being streamed internationally on Apple TV+.
The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle is available to stream on Peacock.
