This is what happened during the premiere of Gosling’s latest film Fall Guy, when the actor made it difficult for her co-star to complete her interview. All because he showed up dressed as an SNL character which cracked Blunt up.
Ryan Gosling Crashes Emily Blunt’s Interview At The Fall Guy Premiere
Emily Blunt was answering questions and giving interviews on the red carpet of her latest film, the action-comedy The Fall Guy. This is when Gosling chose to show up dressed as one particular character, causing Blunt to lose it. She was left with no control over her demeanor and ended up in a fit of laughter.
Gosling was the host of Saturday Night Live last month. He played MTV’s dead-ringer animated characters Beavis and Butthead. He broke character several times on the show, which only added to the charm and humor. However, no one expected to see Gosling cosplaying the animated character again.
In the interview with Entertainment Tonight Gosling, along with Mikey Day. showed up as the characters and introduced themselves as Dean and Jeff respectively. The hilarious appearance shattered any hold Blunt had over her demeanor. It was a fun interaction to witness, as there is never any shortage of entertainment hen the La La Land actor is involved.
Emily Blunt On Working With Ryan Gosling
This is the Barbenheimer collab no one saw coming. This is Blunt and Gosling’s first film since they both worked in respective units of the phenomenon that was Barbenheimer.
Not that anyone would expect any less, the duo makes a great couple on screen. Their chemistry is off the charts and the actors seem to thrive off each other’s energies in their respective crafts. In her interview, Blunt shared that filming with Gosling was particularly fun because the actor kept breaking character, as he did on SNL playing Dean.
The interviewer asked Blunt:
“Does he break character on set as much as he did on SNL?”
To this, the Devil Wears Prada actress replied:
“Yes and I think we’re both really weak and that way I don’t know if we’re very good at holding it together but I like working with people like that it makes them more fun.”
Inspired by the eponymous TV series from the 80s, The Fall Guy follows a stuntman who ends up working in his ex-girlfriend’s directorial debut, only to discover himself in a bit of a tricky situation. The film promises to be an immense package of laughter and entertainment.
The Fall Guy is now in theatres.
