After hosting ABC’s Live with Kelly and Ryan since 2017, Ryan Seacrest announced his plans to leave the show earlier this month. Followed by Seacrest’s departure, Kelly Ripa’s husband Mark Consuelos will join her as co-host, and the talk show is expected to be branded Live with Kelly and Mark. The Live host also shared the news on his Instagram explaining that he would be busy with some of his upcoming projects as the reason for his departure.
However, seems like he missed out on one of the reasons. New reports claim that one of the reasons Seacrest left the talk show is because of his girlfriend, Aubrey Paige, who is reportedly looking forward to a proposal from the talk show host.
Aubrey Paige Wants to Start a Family With Ryan Seacrest
Ryan Seacrest announced that the ongoing season of Live With Kelly And Ryan would be his last on the talk show. And soon after his declaration, RadarOnline reported that his girlfriend is expecting a proposal from the talk show host soon. The 49-year-old TV host has been in a relationship with Aubrey Paige for more than a year, and according to sources, she wants to take the next step in their relationship.
Paige reportedly wants her bae to propose to her and has already given the American Idol host an ultimatum. Not just a proposal, the model allegedly also wants to start a family with Seacrest. Sources also revealed that Aubrey Paige “wants a guarantee the deal will include having children.”
However, the TV host is having a hard time wrapping his head around his partner’s demands. “He’s always on the run, and can’t even imagine how he’d handle all his projects if he was kept awake by the cries of a newborn,” the source shared. They also shared that Seacrest was “left squirming” after learning about his girlfriend’s expectations.
Ryan Seacrest Talks About Fatherhood
Ryan Seacrest is known for prioritizing his career. However, seems like Aubrey Paige did lead him to think about what it would be like to have a family. He talked about fatherhood during a segment of his radio show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest. He shared that although he did not want kids at first, looking at his friends’ kids and his niece made him realize he also wanted something similar for himself.
“Actually if you asked me when I was 40 a few years ago “Do you want kids?” [I’d say], “I don’t know,” and now, all of a sudden, all I can think about is, “Wow, how do I do that? I’m getting older. What are the options?”‘
While reports claim that the talk show host was a little shocked with his girlfriend expecting a proposal and kids, Seacrest might be on the same page. For now, he is planning to move back to Los Angeles with his girlfriend. Ryan Seacrest and Aubrey Paige started dating in 2021, and the couple has been together ever since.
