Seven of Nine: Who is she?
Previous day’s episode of Star Trek: Picard saw Jean Luc Picard and his new crew leaving the planet and visiting the Vashti planet, during which they needed help. Seven of Nine was the one who provided the much needed help.
Who is Seven of Nine?
Seven of Nine appeared in Star Trek: Voyager’s fourth season premiere, ‘Scorpion, Part 2.’ She was a tertiary adjunct of Unimatrix Zero One who was sent to Voyager to communicate on the behalf of the collective. After their alliance came to an end, Seven attempted to assimilate Voyager’s crew. The crew manages to sever her connection to the collective. In the following episode, The Doctor removes most of Seven of Nine’s Borg implants, revealing the human beneath.
Background detail about Seven of Nine
Seven of Nine or simply ‘Seven’ was born to two scientists who were working on Borg activity. At that time, the Federation had no knowledge of Borg or who they were.
She was named as Annika Hansen by her parents. After their alliance came to an end, Seven attempted to assimilate Voyager’s crew. The crew manages to sever her connection to the collective. In the following episode, The Doctor removes most of Seven of Nine’s Borg implants, revealing the human beneath.
What happened to Seven?
Seven of Nine remained on the Voyager until its return to the Earth. Though there is not much details to what happened to her, we are aware that she was safe and later joined a group called the Fernis Rangers. This group is known to help protect the galaxy from any impending doom.
