Shakira Reportedly Suffering From Severe Health Issues After Brutal Split From Gerard Pique, Frequently Visiting Hospital That Has Scared Fans
Shakira’s frequent hospital visits have raised questions among her fans regarding her health. After announcing her split from Spanish soccer player Gerard Pique, many speculated that she may be suffering from a serious health condition.
“We have obtained images and information that she attends the Teknon clinic in Barcelona every week,” Fa and Vázquez stated in their podcast, which was released on Wednesday. Previously, Shakira was spotted frequently visiting the hospital back in June.
In her Twitter post, she explained that her father William Mebarak Chadid had suffered a bad fall. The Waka Waka singer explained the viral video by writing:
“Guys, I’m getting a lot of messages of concern that I was seen in an ambulance in Barcelona recently. I just wanted to let you know that those photos are from last weekend (the 28th) when my dad, unfortunately, had a bad fall and I accompanied him in an ambulance to the hospital where he is recovering now.”
Shakira Wasn’t Visiting her Father in the Hospital
Recent reports revealed that Shakira wasn’t visiting her father and her regular visit to the hospital was due to some other reasons.
“It’s not because of her father. She hasn’t gone to see any family members and, indeed, she has even gone alone,” Fa and Vazquez said. “We don’t know what’s wrong with her. Maybe it’s simply an aesthetic issue, that she wants to get ready for the new tour, or maybe it’s a health problem. We don’t know.”
Shakira hasn’t reacted to this report and is busy promoting her new song Monotonía. The song has a lot of references related to her recent split with Gerard Pique.
This is not Shakira’s first struggle with serious health problems. Since she was confirmed with toxoplasmosis, a condition that may cause moderate to life-threatening infections, the Colombian needed particular care during both of her pregnancies.
Shakira and Gerard Pique split after 12 years
Previously, the Colombian-born singer shocked her fans when she announced her separation from Spanish soccer player Gerard Pique. A joint statement issued by the singer’s public relations firm stated:
“We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect our privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”
In 2010, the two met on the set of the music video for Shakira’s single Waka Waka. The song was the official theme song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and it featured various football players, including Spain’s Gerard Piqué. The couple has two children together, Milan and Sasha. The breakup was confirmed after the Spanish newspaper El Periodico claimed that Piqué had moved out of their family home.
