Shakira is going through a rough patch in her life due to her separation from her former beau, Gerard Pique. Their relationship garnered major media attention ever since speculations about the then-couple splitting up started to surface. It came along with with the reports of the latter being unfaithful to his then-lover started circulating online, which turned out to be true after he went official with Clara Chia Marti. However, the ex-couple never directly acknowledged those speculations.
The former couple was in a relationship for more than a decade sharing two children, Milan and Sasha. After the couple announced their split, they are now engaged in a legal lawsuit regarding the custody of their two children. Amid the reports, they were spotted at eldest son Milan’s baseball game last month.

The ex-couple, Shakira and Gerard Pique, were seen last month at their eldest son Milan’s baseball game in Barcelona. Though the former couple was attending the same event, they were not spotted together but rather maintained their distance from each other.
The 45-year-old singer went with her mother and a few of her friends to watch Milan’s game. While her former lover, Pique was photographed standing in a corner with his mother watching the game.
The reports stated that the Colombian singer and the Barcelona defender had not made any contact until they went to see their children after the game ended.
Sasha Seeking Attention Amid The Parents’ Separation
The youngest child of Shakira and Gerard Pique, seven-year-old Sasha tried to take advantage of his mother’s fame by asking a fan of the singer to give him money.
At the end of his brother Milan’s baseball match, one of the singer’s fans asked for a selfie which the former approved. Sasha took the picture and asked the man to give him $10,000 in return for the picture the fan clicked with the pop star.
The footage went viral on social media. A netizen in the video commented that the little boy would grow up to be an excellent manager and good businessman.
The couple split back in June this year with the singer recently addressing her split with the footballer in an Elle interview stating how difficult it was for her along with the kids to go through their separation. She clarified that their separation was “not like a regular separation.”
She wanted her children to be less exposed to the details about their parent’s separation and has tried her best to do that. On the other side, the 35-year-old footballer is busy dating his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti.
