The never-ending saga of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s messy defamation trial still makes headlines. Post the dramatic court trials, Johnny Depp made a comeback to the world of movies with Jeanne Du Barry, playing the titular role, which was aired at the grand opening of the Cannes Film Festival in 2023. Amber Heard is also making a comeback with her upcoming movie In The Fire.

In the movie, Amber Heard would be seen playing an American psychiatrist in the late 1800s who travels to a remote location in Colombia in order to treat a troubled child. Her recent visit to the Taormina Film Festival has become a highlight for the actor as she was warmly greeted by her fans and even her co-star and director openly praised her.

Amber Heard’s Co-star Is All Praises For Her

After the messy defamation trial with her ex-husband Johnny Depp, actor Amber Heard is all set for a comeback. The Aquaman star is back in the spotlight. She was present on the blue carpet at the Taormina Film Festival during the premiere of her new movie In the Fire. Director Conor Allyn and co-star Luca Calvani were also present at the venue.

While talking about the traumatic past and the highly-publicized trial of actor Amber Heard, Conor Allyn, and actor Luca Calvani expressed some words of praise for the actor’s resilience. During the Taormina Film Festival director Conor Allyn spoke to media outlet Deadline and said-

“I’m so happy that Amber went through something so awful and it didn’t change her as a person. She’s still the shining light that we explained earlier and to go through something that terrible and be able to come out the other side and be whole, well I can’t imagine it.”

Actor Luca Calvani was all praises for his co-star Amber Heard. On working with The Rum Diary star, Luca Calvani said- She was “generous and encouraging” on the movie set. He further went on to describe her as someone who “has that light,” and “She glows and she pulls you in and she shares it with everybody. The last person on set will feel it and feel a connection with her.”

The Italian actor even mentioned-

“Anyone that suffers that sort of ordeal and is able to overcome it with grace, no matter what side you’re on, no matter what you believe or which social media [outlet] you plug into or whatever your hashtags are, you have to give credit for the incredible journey this woman has been through and she can teach us all a couple of things as far as resilience and courage.”

The courtroom drama took a toll on Amber Heard’s career and went on to damage her public image. A major section of her role was tweaked from the Jason Momoa starer movie Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom. She was even paid less for that movie.

Amber Heard On Her Comeback After Her Messy Divorce

The world premiere of Amber Heard’s upcoming movie In The Fire has given a new reason for her fans to be happy. The actor has made a comeback to the world of entertainment almost a year after her much-hyped divorce and defamation trial. Set in the 1980s, Amber Heard would be portraying the role of an American psychiatrist in the movie In The Fire. 

The actor was present at Taormina’s ancient Greek amphitheater with director Conor Allyn and cast members Eduardo Noriega and Luca Calvani, during the premiere of In The Fire. While talking about her experience working with an independent production house, instead of a big name from Hollywood, Amber Heard said-

“You don’t do them for money, you do them because you love them. You do them because you love the story, you love the people, and you want to be part of that experience and have been something that other people can experience.”

Post the defamation trial and the verdict coming out in favor of Pirates Of The Caribbean star Johnny Depp, Amber Heard relocated to Spain along with her daughter Oonagh Paige. The actor prefers keeping a low profile away from the flashlights of the tinsel town. During her recent appearance at the Taormina Film Festival, her fans and supporters gave her a warm welcome and were excited to her happy after months.

The actor is living a peaceful life with her little daughter Oonagh Paige in Spain. According to her social media posts, it is quite evident that Amber Heard is finally happy with her life and her primary focus is her daughter.
