Johnny Depp is dating Joelle Rich. The attorney was seen with him at the Virginia courthouse where the star and Amber Heard’s defamation case was being held. The actor was seen leaving in the same car with his lawyer girlfriend. “It’s serious between them. They are the real deal.” the insider told US Weekly.

It seems that Johnny Depp has had nothing but good things happen to him after the defamation trial. However, on the flip side, Amber Heard seems to be constantly criticized for anything she does.

Joelle Rich represented Johnny Depp in the UK libel case

In his 2020 UK libel case against The Sun, she also represented her new love. Johnny Depp had filed a lawsuit against the British tabloid and its executive editor, Dan Wootton. The 2018 article had called him a “wife-beater” based only on his ex-wife’s claims.

In an opinion piece published in The Washington Post in 2018, his ex-wife claimed to be a “public figure representing domestic abuse“. Following that, he filed a defamation case seeking $50 million in damages for damage to his reputation. Amber Heard received a $2 million award for her counterclaims, but the former won the lawsuit and received $10.35 million in damages.
