Maluma Shared His Difficult Experience With Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez‘s 2022 movie Marry Me has been a great success generating a revenue of $50M. Working through the odds, the actress and the crew of the film made it possible for its audience to enjoy a comedy like such. However, there were a few difficult situations while shooting the romantic comedy-drama, as explained by the Colombian singer Maluma. Recalling his experience on set, the singer revealed in an interview about a terrible incident he had with Jennifer Lopez.
Sitting for an interview with Hola, the Colombian singer mentioned forgetting the lyrics to She Got My Back while filming alongside Lopez. Recalling the incident to be a nightmare, Maluma mentioned, how the 53-year-old helped him through. “We had a teleprompter because I didn’t know the lyrics to the song. And then I started singing and I forgot the lyrics.” Maluma shared.
Further adding, he mentioned, “And I saw the teleprompter, and the teleprompter went off.” That’s when he mentioned how Lopez supported him, “She held me, man. She got my back”. Rejoiced after overcoming a difficult situation together, Maluma and Jennifer Lopez further worked on a soundtrack album for the movie.
Jennifer Lopez Received Hate And Backlash
Having a successful career and supporters like Maluma didn’t shield Jennifer Lopez from the hate and controversy that her fame brought upon her. Being involved in numerous altercations, Lopez perpetually feuded with the pop icon Mariah Carey. The actress was further rumored to have engaged in a verbal dispute with Cameron Diaz while working together on their movie, What to Expect When You’re Expecting.
