According to recent reports, Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has his eyes set on the famous Colombian singer. The two were spotted together at the Miami Grand Prix, where Shakira was immersing herself in the city’s culture after moving there just a month ago.

Despite hiding behind massive sunglasses, the duo was seen walking together and even posing for a photo. The sources exclusively shared on Page Six, “He is extremely interested in pursuing her. There is chemistry.” 

The Waka Waka singer recently split from her longtime boyfriend, Gerard Pique, amid allegations of adultery, which has left her world in chaos.

One source also mentioned that Shakira needs a shoulder stating,

“Shakira needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom, that Cruise has the benefit of being, a nice-looking guy, and he is talented. And she isn’t taller than him.”

Meanwhile, the 60-year-old opted to attend the Grand Prix in Miami over King Charles’ coronation in England.

Although Cruise missed the coronation weekend, he pre-taped a message to the monarch, calling her his wingman. He said, “Pilot to pilot, Your Majesty, you can be my wingman any time.” 

Despite the ups and downs in her personal life, the songwriter is currently immersing herself in Miami’s culture after recently moving there.

Shakira’s weekend was also eventful, as she was recognized as Billboard’s first Woman of the Year at the Latin Women in Music gala on Saturday. The singer celebrated the power of women while seemingly taking a shot at her ex-boyfriend.

Shakira expressed how every woman goes through a phase where they no longer depend on others to love or accept them, but rather starts searching for their true self. 

The Hips Don’t Lie, performer further emphasized the importance of being authentic, she shared,

“The search for the other is replaced by the search for oneself when the desire to be perfect is replaced by the desire to be authentic. It is a year in which I have realized that women are much stronger than we think.” 

Shakira gave credited her music for helping her through tough times and dedicated her award to all women, she disclosed,

“For them, for you, I wrote what I wrote and sang what I sang because only a woman can love until she tears herself apart; can speak with the most brutal honesty; can sing with anger; dance in ecstasy and be brought to tears with emotion. Only a woman can do that.”

The Latin star’s speech hinted at the recent release of a viral diss track against her former boyfriend, who went Instagram official with his new girlfriend in January.  

However, Shakira did not explicitly mention the couple or the song in her speech. Instead, she focused on the power of women and their ability to love and create with passion and strength.
