Tom Cruise was last spotted in Rome, promoting his new film — the seventh Installment in the hit Mission: Impossible franchise, which debuts in theaters July 12. He graced the red carpet with his Mission: Impossible director as well as members of the cast, including Esai Morales, Simon Pegg, Frederick Schmidt, Shea Whigham, Mariela Garriga, Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, and Vanessa Kirby.
Tom Cruise Elated On The Success Of The Mission: Impossible Franchise
Tom Cruise was all smiles at Rome’s Spanish Steps at the Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One premiere. During his speech, Cruise said that it was his passion to entertain the audience. Talking about the success of the Mission Impossible franchise, Cruise shared with the Outlet that “it’s unbelievable.”
Cruise added,
“I do pinch myself every day. I don’t take anything for granted,” “I remember being 18 years old, making ‘Taps’, and I remember being four years old and thinking I want to make movies, and I want to travel the world, and now here we are in Rome,” he continued. “It’s something that I am constantly [feeling like], ‘This is so out of body’ and ‘What is happening? This is wild’… I just feel very privileged.”
Actress Vanessa Kirby stars as White Widow in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and in one of her interviews in May, she shared about Cruise’s absence of fear while performing his own stunts. She told Variety, “He did it many times in one day. He did it consecutively… and repeatedly so he could capture all the different angles and sides of it.”

It might be hard to believe for many but yes! even Tom Cruise gets a little starstruck. The Hollywood legend recently went to a Janet Jackson concert and his excitement knew no bounds seeing the Come On Get Up hitmaker perform live.
While speaking with ET’s Nischelle Turner on Monday in Rome, at the world premiere of his new action blockbuster, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Cruise talked about his activities in the rare instance in which he takes some time off.
Talking about Jackson’s concert last month, Cruise said, “That was a moment, yeah, that was my night off. That was my last break, I just want to tell you to go see Janet.”
Describing Janet Jackson, he said “I’m right in there, yeah, come on! It’s Janet, she’s a legend,” and in May itself, Jackson shared on Instagram, a shot of herself and Cruise backstage after a stop in Charlotte, North Carolina, on her Together Again tour. She captioned the post, “T, it was so good seeing you and nice spending some time together 😊”
When asked about his nickname given by Jackson, Tom Cruise said, “Yeah she calls me T. Look, she can call me whatever she wants. She’s Janet Jackson! She’s a goddess. She is a goddess.” It seems that Tom Cruise is absolutely in awe of Janet Jackson and her live performance.
