“Sh*t happens”: Sam Asghari Talks About Divorce With Britney Spears Amid Blackmailing Allegations
Sam Asghari, an Iranian-American fitness instructor, first met Britney Spears in 2016 while making a music video. The two later got married in California in June 2022 in front of a few of Britney Spears’ close business associates. After 14 months of marriage, the couple decided to dissolve their union and part ways.
It is well known that the aspiring actor supported Britney Spears as best he could during all of her difficulties and hardships, including her conservatorship and her mental health, but it seems that it wasn’t enough. Sam Asghari decided to file for divorce, and he is just now speaking up.
Sam Asghari breaks his silence over divorce from Britney Spears
The fitness trainer, Sam Asghari, who had been with Britney Spears since 2016 decided to take to his social media stories to share a statement about their ongoing divorce. He wrote,
“After 6 years of love and commitment to each other, my wife and I have decided to end our journey together. We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always. Sh*t happens. Asking for privacy seems ridiculous, so I will just ask for everyone, including media to be kind and thoughtful.”
It was reported that Asghari decided to file for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences as their reason for separation and the date that has been mentioned on the documents is July 28 pointing out that the couple had been living separately for a while now. It was very well known in their circle that they were having marital problems and the rumors started to spread soon.
Asghari’s representative shut those rumors down by explaining that it all started with them being spotted without their wedding bands, to which he said Asghari only took it off because he was filming a movie.

Sam Asghari’s representative shut down the rumors of prenup concessions
In the middle of their divorce proceedings in which the actor had requested spousal support from the singer and asked her to pay the legal fees, noting that the actor reserves the right to amend petitions over property and community assets, the news of his trying to blackmail the singer to negotiate the prenup concessions came along.
Asghari’s representative recently addressed the same by stating
“There are many claims that Sam is challenging the prenup and threatening to exploit his ex-wife with videos. However, all these claims are false, as no negative intention has ever been directed towards her and never will be. Sam has always and will always support her.”
As soon as the rumors of the actor trying to convince Spears to negotiate the prenup started to swirl, he was dubbed as a gold digger by her fans, pointing out that they were not even surprised. However, when the couple decided to sign a prenup before getting married, it was reported that it had been highly in favor of Britney Spears and whatever money she had made before marriage is protected.
Did Britney Spears cheat on Sam Asghari?
TMZ reported that Sam Asghari has claimed that the singer had cheated on him with a staff member at her house and they engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct as well. It has been reported that the actor claims that Britney Spears had asked one staff member to shoot a video of her naked and he believes that they hooked up.
A source has shared that Asghari claims that there is footage of his wife and the staff member in a compromising position while adding that the singer is in a fragile and hyper-se*xualized state and it has contributed to her reckless and dangerous decision-making over the past couple of months.
Britney Spears has not yet commented on the situation but is adamant that she did not cheat on him, noting that their marriage had been on the rocks for a while now and the divorce filing is the last straw in their relationship.
