HBO Max has provided much engaging content ever since it came into existence. HBO’s binge-worthy series are indeed praise-worthy, but lately, it has engaged itself in derivative work that is not acclaimed by its audience. HBO recently announced the launch of a TV series based on the Harry Potter series, and fans didn’t approve of this idea.
And now HBO is all set to release a spin-off of the popular series The Big Bang Theory. The American sitcom is currently in its development stage and will stream on HBO Max. HBO’s viewers are certainly bothered by the frequent changes HBO has been involved in lately.
Why is HBO being criticized by the fans?
HBO has been indulging in launching some derivative shows recently. HBO will soon be bringing the spin-off of the 90’s popular American sitcom The Big Bang Theory. Where HBO seems to be creative in its endeavors, fans certainly are not ready to embrace the change.
HBO’s decision to launch The Big Bang Theory spin-off has enraged the audience, as the last season of the series left all the fans disappointed. Fans didn’t appreciate the end of the series because of its recurring plotline, which made it monotonous. A user wrote,

The show released 279 episodes from September 2007 to May 2019, and by the end of the last episode of the show, it was rumored that the show would be canceled as the main lead had exited the show. And now the series is all set to be back on television. Before the declaration of The Big Bang Theory spinoff, HBO announced its collaboration with Warner Bros. to launch the television series, Harry Potter. HBO was criticized for this by the fans, as they thought this might aggravate the authenticity of the original series.
Why did Jim Parsons leave The Big Bang Theory?
Jim Parsons‘s departure from the show marked the end of the popular sitcom. During an interview with a media house, Parsons talked about his decision to leave The Big Bang Theory. Parsons explained in an interview,
“Our final contract was for the last two years, but no one knew when we signed it what that would mean. I kind of had a suspicion in my heart that that was going to be it for me when I did sign that contract, but you never say never and who knows. I was exhausted, and I was really upset about, more than anything, one of our dogs was getting really at the end of his life around then.”
Reportedly, the latest spinoff will feature a new cast with some guest appearances.
