These rumors have been triggered by Manganiello’s Instagram birthday wish on his wife’s 51st birthday recently. It seems that he was not by Vergara’s side during the celebration.

And even the picture he shared of his wife and himself seems to have been from an older time. He shared it with the simple caption,
“Happy Birthday Sofia!!!”
Although there is no direct or clear indication of any marriage troubles, but his absence has somehow sparked the rumors that their relationship might not be stable at the moment.
In addition to this, there is also the fact that Manganiello has also put his luxury mansion on sale which he has shared with his wife for a long time. All this has collectively fueled the rumors of a possible split between the couple. However, nothing has been confirmed by anyone as of yet.

Back in 2014, Sofia Vergara and her husband Joe Manganiello met for the first time during a correspondent’s dinner at the White House. Reportedly, the two reportedly got fell for each other as only a few weeks later, Manganiello reached out to Vergara’s Modern Family co-star Tyler Ferguson for her number.
And since then, their romance has blossomed as after six months of dating, he eventually popped the question to Vergara.
According to Manganiello, the 2020 pandemic helped them grow closer. He told People,
“The best thing [about social distancing] is eating dinner together every night”
The couple have openly expressed their love for each other on various occasions since getting together. They share one baby son born in 2019.
