Watching content that is based on true events or people is so interesting, isn’t it? It’s like you know most of what you’re watching has happened for real. Yes, the makers do put in some extra drama but that’s only to keep the audience glued. One such upcoming project on Netflix is “Griselda“. The crime drama series will focus primarily on the notorious drug dealer Griselda Blanco. The plot in itself is so interesting, imagine how the show will be! Netflix: Sofia Vergara Transforms Into THIS In Miniseries Griselda
On 19th January 2022, Netflix released a photo of Sofia Vergara. She was looking fierce and fearless. Sofia is set to play the titular character “Griselda Branco”. In reality, she was a notorious drug dealer. She was famously called “La Madrina”, the Black Widow, and the Queen of Narco-Trafficking. With the names she was famously called, it is evident how huge she must be!
So, this pretty much explains why the series is named Griselda. Sofia in the above image looks completely transformed and in character! It feels like she’s ready to break a few bones. Nobody messes with her! The character she is playing is known to be one of the wealthiest drug traffickers. Griselda was known for her violent and ruthless ways of doing business. And, from the image above, one can see Sofia enduring that attitude!
Did you know this project was something Sofia Vergara was planning on for more than 8 years? So, a project that was in consideration for years must look great when released. Looks like this project is close to Sofia’s heart.
Other than acting in the series, Sofia is also the executive producer alongside the creative team of Narcos. One drawback so far is that the series will have six 50-minute long episodes. 50 minutes is a long duration to watch, to be honest. But no harm if they are interesting.
