Miley Cyrus recalls flirting with fellow singer Ariana Grande

In a new TikTok posted by the singer Miley Cyrus under her Used to Be Young series, she looked back upon her 2015 cover performance of Crowded House’s 1986 classic ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ with none other than Ariana Grande as a part of her Backyard Session series.

The Backyard Sessions were held to promote Miley Cyrus’ newly launched Happy Hippie Foundation, which raises awareness and funds for homeless youth. During the performance, Grande missed her cue after the singer started to chat with her and asked her about the onesie she was wearing. Cyrus told Grande, “Are you a mouse? Or a bear? Whatever you are, it’s probably the cutest mouse bear thing I’ve ever seen. I’m a unicorn, if you can’t tell.”

“I feel like people have these friendships that are really based on, ‘Hey, you know, you’re famous. I’m famous, and if we come together, we’re like so famous’. It’s really stupid, and it’s not really a real friendship, and you probably talk where everyone can see it more than you talk privately.”
