Stranger Things Season 4’s Latest Teaser Introduces An Haunted House
Stranger Things is heading to a new creepy location – Creel House for its new season (four)!!!!!!!!
Stranger Things, for its three seasons has mostly stayed in the realm of monsters. Whether it was Demogorgon, its Demo-dogs or the skyscraper-sized Mind Flyer, Strangers Things’ have been much more of Dungeons and Dragons styled from the Upside Down rather than your traditional things.
But it all is abut to change with the upcoming Stranger Things Season 4. During the Netflix’s global fan event TUDUM, Stranger Things creators The Duffer Brothers and the actors Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) and Joe Keery (Steve Harrington) unveiled the lasted sneak peek at the upcoming season which is set to premiere in 2022.
The Duffer Brothers pointed it out that this is the third teaser they had released after the one that featured Hopper in Russia and another one taking place in Brenner’s lab and that there was still one more coming out our way.
But we think it will be really hard to imagine the next teaser could top this one. Check it out here
The Creel House is that of Victor Creel, played by Robert Englund, well known for playing Freddy Krueger in the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. Creel is described as a disturbed and intimidating man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s.
The clip picks up with a family moving into a beautiful blue mansion. And as expected it doesn’t take much time for the creepy nonsense to start. Rabbits are found eviscerated in the yard, there are flickering lights and we can even see glimpses of dead children- the usual elements for haunted houses.
The clip flash- forwards to the Stranger Things’ present in the 80s in which Dustin, Steven, Lucas ( Caleb looks so grown up) and Max are seen searching the mansion for some items.
The clip’s end confirms that the things going on at the Creel House are related to the Upside Down environment.
But as an audience, it did feel a good change to see our heroes for a change exploring a classic “haunted house.”
Dustin can use his Ghostbuster Slimer badge for real now.
