According to the recent developments on Deadpool 3, it has been speculated that Ben Affleck could be a part of the superhero-action-comedy project. It has been assumed that he could be seen in a cameo just like his Daredevil co-star and ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
During an interview with a media outlet, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld revealed that the entire cast of the Ryan Reynolds starrer superhero movie might take the fans by a huge surprise. He had said-
“The stuff I know, it will melt your face, alright? That’s all I’m going to say, it’ll melt your face!”
Ben Affleck was the face of DC’s Batman before he was replaced by the Twilight star Robert Pattinson in 2022. For the Argo star, the superhero thing is not new and before hanging his bat suit at the door of the DC, the actor was loved and appreciated by the superhero franchise fans. His rumored association with the Deadpool chapter 3, could be his first stint as a superhero with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to the speculations on Ryan Reynolds Deadpool 3, it can be one of the biggest multiversal projects from the house of Marvel Cinematic Universe and might even see the inclusion of a few more Marvel comics characters like Owen Wilson’s Mobius and a significant antagonist from the Loki series Miss Minutes too.
Jennifer Garner And Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine Returns Back For Deadpool 3
Hugh Jackman’s fans were surprised when he announced his comeback with the Ryan Reynolds starrer Deadpool 3 in September 2022. One of the most loved characters from the X-Men franchise, the Logan star announced his retirement from in 2017 from the franchise. During an interview with Chris Wallace for CNN, the 54-year-old Australian actor spoke about his comeback. He went on to mention-
“I mean, you’ve categorized it as a Deadpool movie. We like to call it Wolverine 10 in our house. Basically, this is taking place… The story is pre-Logan. Which is, exactly as you said, where Logan died. So, we pre that in the storyline.”
“I had to be cut out of and sewn into the leather pants every time I had to pee, and that was like a 45-minute undertaking. So I definitely held it in. And I had so many chicken-cutlet fake boobs in to make Elektra’s b**bs; I think there were three on each side of different sizes. And everything was pushed up and out. I was just this close to a wardrobe malfunction at all times. There’s not enough tape in the world to make this stuff safe.”
The filming of the Shawn Levy-directed Deadpool 3 is currently going on in London and is set to hit theaters on May 3, 2024.
