Since then, a lot has happened, to say the least. Aniston became one of the highest-paid TV actresses and was briefly married nearly a decade after her divorce, while Pitt and Jolie rose to A-list celebrity status, got married, broke the internet, and endured a rocky path to a divorce, which was finalized late last year. However, one thing that does not seem to have changed in all these years is Aniston’s alleged resentment towards Jolie as she continues to blame the Maleficent star for her divorce from Pitt.

After dating for nearly two years, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt tied the knot in 2000 in a private wedding ceremony held in Malibu. The Fight Club star even had a cameo in his then-wife’s hit show, FRIENDS. Things seemed to be going well until they were not as the duo announced their separation in January 2005 and the Murder Mystery actress filed for divorce two months later.
In those two months, the world seemed to have been turned upside down as Pitt was seen with Jolie at a beach and Aniston’s fans jumped on the hate train to label the Girl, Interrupted actress a “homewrecker”. As for the relationship between Pitt and Aniston after the divorce, the former told W magazine in 2009 that they still checked in on each other at the time.
Pitt and Jolie’s relationship was dubbed ‘Brangelina’ and quickly became the golden couple in Hollywood. Unfortunately, that relationship too came to an after 11 years as Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt. After all this time, Aniston reportedly still holds a grudge against the Gia actress. A source recently told RadarOnline.com:

The source further divulged that Aniston still holds Jolie “responsible for a whole lot of pain in her life.” According to the insider, the former rationally or irrationally believes that the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider star should be held accountable.

In all these years, the actresses have never interacted once despite attending the same events at times. When Jolie was married to Pitt, it was obviously because it was too awkward. Even now that the couple has separated, Aniston seems to be determined to avoid the Academy Award winner at all costs.
Elsewhere in the report by the publication, the insider also claimed that Aniston feels as if Jolie is trying to creep up on her professional relationships too.
Hollywood is a very small town, and with Angelina in the running for an Oscar, it’s going to take a big effort from Jen to avoid her in the coming months. On top of that, Jen feels Ange is starting to encroach on some of her professional relationships, too.
Aniston has been working closely with Netflix for years now and last year, Jolie produced the biographical film Maria with the streaming service. So, the former’s alleged frustration seems understandable.
