While appearing as a guest on a show, Chris Evans opened up about how it feels to be titled the S*xiest Man Alive by a well-known magazine. The Avengers: Endgame star also revealed how Paul Rudd gave the actor a hard time in dethroning him from the title.
Paul Rudd Humorously Teases Chris Evans For Taking His Title
Chris Evans and his Marvel co-star Paul Rudd share a humorous and playful bond, which the Ant-Man star utilized when he was dethroned by Evans. The First Avenger star was crowned the title of the S*xiest Man Alive by People magazine last year, which was previously helmed by Paul Rudd. When Evans appeared as a guest on NBC’s The Tonight Show, the actor shared how he received playful teasing from Rudd and said:
“I’m actually in a fantasy football league with Paul and a few other actor buddies, so they haze you, It almost feels like that’s all that title does, is give you a hard time. Nobody on the street is like, ‘Hey…you know what? You did it!
Chris Evans humorously mentions that he’s in a fantasy football league with Paul Rudd and other actor friends. The Not Another Teen Movie star explains that being in a league means that the friends “haze” each other and you have to deal with it. The actor mentioned that receiving this title means giving the recipient a hard time rather than being lauded by people.

It has been all over that Chris Evans tied the knot with Alba Baptista in an intimate wedding ceremony, where the actor was joined by his Marvel co-stars like Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., and other well-known celebrities. According to Page Six, Chris Evans and his wife Baptista recently spent time with Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, during their recent trip to Portugal. The Page Six insider reported that the newlywed couple ran upon the royals at a bar or restaurant which was unanticipated.
Apart from Evans’ personal life, fans have been hoping for the actor’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in an interview with GQ, The Gray Man star’s response was filled with mixed feelings. Chris Evans said:

And like I said, sometimes I can’t believe it even happened. And I wouldn’t want the black eye if it felt like a cash grab or if it didn’t live up to expectations or if it just felt like it wasn’t connected to that original thing.”
In the interview, the actor emphasized that he undeniably enjoyed playing Captain America throughout his Marvel journey and it’s quite challenging to bid farewell to his iconic character. However, he also mentioned that he’s very thoughtful about a potential return as Captain America.
