This came via a comment on Twitter from Sana Amanat, who happens to be the co-creator of Kamala. The comic book editor, who has previously worked on everything from Spider-Man to Captain Marvel, is known for their work with Kamala. After a new look, Ms. Marvel was shared this past week, Amanat had something to say.

“Been working hard with an incredible team to bring this show to life. The pressure and responsibility we all feel is intense. The love we have is immense. Praying we can make you all proud,” she wrote.

Here’s the tweet:

Obviously, it’s not very hard to understand where this intense pressure is coming from. Ms. Marvel is one of the most major solo series to arrive from Marvel Comics in the last decade. Kamala did not just break the barriers as a Pakistani-American superhero, but her powers and lively personality made her an instant hit among fans. Ms. Marvel also introduced a new slew of young female readers to the Marvel Universe midst its debut, and now there isn’t any doubt the TV show will grab that demographic’s attention this coming year.

With so many fans waiting for Kamala, the creators of the character are now feeling the heat, but Amanat assures all fans that the pressure isn’t a lot. The responsibility is felt by the team and is countered by a love for the character, so the fans can expect something good from this series. With Iman Vellani tackling the character onscreen, fans don’t really have much to worry about when it comes to this adaptation.

Disney+ has released its official synopsis not too long ago, and you can read it here:
