Cutler began dating TV personality, Kristin Cavallari in 2010 and got engaged the next year. After temporarily breaking off their relationship for a short time, they got married in 2013. Unfortunately, they decided to separate in 2020. However, Cutler raised eyebrows when he was seen with Cavallari’s ex-employee, Shannon Ford, less than a year after the divorce. The move definitely left people surprised and even a little confused.
Jay Cutler Was Seen Hanging Out with Estranged Wife Kristin Cavallari’s Ex-Employee
Former professional football quarterback Jay Cutler began playing the sport very early on in his life. He was a Chicago Bears fan growing up, so it must have been a dream come true scenario for him when he began playing for the team in 2009 after his three-year stint with the Denver Broncos. After retiring from the Chicago Bears, he played the 2017 NFL season with the Miami Dolphins.
That same year, his ex-wife launched the company, Uncommon James, which sells various lifestyle products. Model Shannon Ford was the social media director for the brand, and was also a cast member of Cavallari’s reality TV show, Very Cavallari. However, Ford was fired from the show at the beginning of the second season.
Over the Thanksgiving weekend of 2021, Cutler posted a now-deleted video on Instagram (via E! News) in which he was seen hanging out with Ford and Mark Block, who was another cast member of the E! Show. This was certainly a very jaw-dropping moment for fans who also made some hilarious comments on the post at the time.
Ford, however, clarified the whole thing during her appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. She explained that she wanted to catch up with Block when she was home for Thanksgiving and saw that he was in Charleston, which was not that far.
After seeing that Cutler was also there through Block’s social media, she was initially hesitant to go there, but was invited by Block. She even said that she was with her mother and grandmother there, so it was not as “spicy” as some people might have thought.

The Hills actress fired Ford from the position of the social media director of Uncommon James in the season two premiere of Very Cavallari. In the episode, she speaks to her best friend Kelly Henderson about how Ford was absent from a staff meeting. Then, she has a conversation with Ford.

Ford tried to reason with Kristin Cavallari, but to no avail, and seemed to be fired from both her jobs at the same time. In the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Ford said that she had not met her ex-boss even once since she was fired and that she used to think of her as her older sister. Her meet-up with Cutler might have made things complicated between the two women, but hopefully, they will settle their differences somewhere down the road.
