The recent Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie case has been a hot topic all over social media, especially Twitter where fans are fuming with rage and disappointment. One of the reasons for this anger revolves around the larger debate that’s going on about powerful white men in Hollywood getting away with serious allegations while being praised and awarded in their professional lives.

Pitt is currently working on an upcoming movie titled She said. It’s based on the #MeToo movement and Harvey Weinstein. Some are calling this an “empty gesture” which he is apparently using to stray away the attention from his sins. But nobody is talking about boycotting his movie when everyone besmirched Will Smith and his upcoming movie because he slapped Chris Rock.

Brad Bitt allegedly abused Angelina Jolie and their kids

Netizens are showing support for Angelina Jolie after she alleged that her ex-husband, actor Brad Pitt, hit one of her kids and choked another while on a plane in 2016. Apparently, the allegations are a response to Pitt suing Jolie over a French winery the couple owned together.

On Tuesday, Angelina Jolie filed a cross-complaint against her ex-husband Brad Pitt, detailing what she claimed in court documents to be his aggressive behavior on a private plane in 2016 that resulted in the breakdown of their marriage.“Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face” and “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her,” the filing states, adding that at one point “he poured beer on Jolie; at another, he poured beer and red wine on the children.”

Anne Kiley, a divorce attorney for Brad Pitt, claimed that although Mr. Pitt had admitted some guilt in the past, he would not accept responsibility for wrongdoing.

People are discarding Will Smith’s upcoming movie, but not that of Brad Pitt

Actor Will Smith continues to receive backlash after he slapped Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards in March. Smith is banned from attending the Oscars ceremony for 10 years, but he is still eligible to be nominated and win.

When Chris Rock made fun of Was Smith’s wife, Smith punched Rock in the face.

The actor has apologized to Rock, the film academy, and the public for slapping the comedian over a joke about the appearance of Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. Yet Some Academy Award voters insist they won’t support Smith in his upcoming drama Emancipation which is set to be released in December.

On the other hand, some fans are furious about how the academy has been blind toward white actors and directors accused of abuse. No one is talking about discarding Brad Pitt’s upcoming movies, and why? Fans are pointing out the racial discrimination in the Hollywood industry where white male actors always get their way out of any scandal or controversies but colored actors are never forgiven for their mistakes.

Unfair policies in the Oscar Academy?

Fans are really curious about the racial boundaries for whom to ban or disparage that’s been going on for so long at the Academy. Oscar’s unfair policies have always been around and people find the Academy guilty of not adhering to fair and equal chances for all.

People at the Academy are ready to not vote for Will Smith after his slap scandal earlier this year but everyone is eager to see the “all-time favorite” actor Brad Pitt in every movie even if he allegedly abused Angelina Jolie and their children. Some fans are arguing about how everyone “crucified Will Smith for slapping a grown man but are not stopping to ‘make a million and one excuses’ for a white superstar like Brad Pitt abusing a woman and children.
