‘They could be unexpectedly taken from you’: Todd and Julie Chrisley’s Son Chase Still Can’t Fathom His Parents Committed $36M Fraud, Left Him No Money
The reality TV stars Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley are having a hard time after hitting the rock bottom when they were once living a lavish lifestyle one could not easily afford. The couple rose to prominence with their reality television series, Chrisley Knows Best which revolves around the lives of the former and his wealthy family.
The pair were sentenced for a long time for committing multiple counts of bank fraud and tax crimes convictions which also included a hefty fine they have to pay. Due to their actions, their family is having a rough patch in their life. The real estate tycoon’s oldest child with his current wife, Chase Chrisley has allegedly addressed the recent events that changed the entire family.
Chase Chrisley Shared a Post on Instagram
The 26-year-old actor, Chase Chrisley shared a subtle message on his Instagram story after his parents were sentenced in their bank fraud and tax evasion case. He reshared an Instagram post on his story titled, Make the Chili which emphasized taking time for loved ones as much as one can as they could “unexpectedly be taken from you.”
The tale highlighted a conversation between two friends in which a man encourages his friend to make his wife’s favorite meal and not take her love for granted.
“It took me a few minutes to realize we were no longer talking about dinner. It was about going out of your way to do something for someone you love because, at any moment, they could unexpectedly be taken from you.”
“Next time someone you love wants to go for a walk or watch a football game or play a board game or just put your phone down and give them your undivided attention, just do it,” the message concluded.
The oldest son of Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley has not addressed his parent’s case.
Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley are Sentenced to a Combined 19 Years of Imprisonment
The pair had been convicted of bank fraud, and tax evasion charges and were sentenced to prison in federal court last week. As per reports, they were found guilty in June of bank fraud out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans, along with that, their charges include aiding and abetting the filing of false tax returns.
For their charges, they were sentenced to a combined 19 years of imprisonment. Todd Chrisley will be serving 12 years in prison with three years of supervised release while his wife has been sentenced to 7 years in jail and 16 months of probation. In addition to their prison, they will have to pay $17.2 million in restitution by Atlanta US District Court’s Judge Eleanor Ross.
With the parents serving their prison time, the custody of their 16-year-old child Grayson has gone to Savannah Chrisley, who is the second eldest child after Chase. She also has custody of her 10-year-old niece Chloe.
