American singer Lady Gaga is known for image reinventions and musical versatility and rose to fame with her debut studio album, The Fame in 2007, and its chart-topping singles Just Dance and Poker Face. The 36-year-old singer in February 2021 was brokenhearted after the singer’s bulldogs had been abducted while the dog-walker was shot during that time. According to reports, a second man who allegedly stole Lady Gaga’s dogs at the moment during which her dog-walker Ryan Fischer, who was shot was jailed Thursday after admitting to his part in the robbery.

Last year, Lady Gaga’s dogs, Koji and Gustav were abducted and the dog-walker was shot by attackers while Los Angeles police announced that they had charged three suspects for the incident itself as well as two others as accomplices. James Howard Jackson, Jaylin Keyshawn White, and Lafayette Whaley have been charged with attempted murder and robbery. While 19-year-old Jackson was accidentally released due to “clerical error,” he was recently arrested. The other suspect, White was involved in the second-degree robbery and had pleaded guilty and was sentenced to four years in prison at a Los Angeles court.

When the incident happened, the dog-walker Fischer was walking three French bulldogs with two among the dogs stolen in the 1500 block of North Sierra Bonita Avenue, near Sunset Boulevard. Fischer was attacked and got chest injuries and further shared on Instagram that he had suffered a collapsed lung and had to have emergency surgery. From a surveillance video, he fell to the ground in the attack, and the assailants each grabbed one dog and got back into the rear seat of the car, with the dog-walker left on the ground.

The singer offered a $500,000 reward for the return of her dogs, with Jennifer McBride, who returned the dogs two days after the incident and was charged with being an accessory after the fact and receiving stolen property. While the police stated that the dogs had been targeted because of the value of the breed on the black market.

While the singer was concerned about her dogs, she showed her gratitude to Fischer. The 36-year-old singer was in Italy filming a movie at the time of the shooting and had praised the dog-walker stating that he risked his life “to fight for our family. You’re forever a hero.”
