Turner was experiencing health problems at the time, months after her husband, Erwin Bach had donated his kidney to her.

“I don’t mind the thought of dying” and was determined to go out in style.”
According to the insider, Turner wanted to ensure that her farewell “eclipses Aretha’s!”
Franklin, who was known as the ‘Queen of Soul’ for a long time, passed away in 2018 and was reportedly upset about Beyoncé calling Turner “The Queen” at the 2008 Grammy Awards.
