The godly physiques of Chris Hemsworth as Thor have never failed to impress the fans, but what hasn’t been noticed is the efforts that he takes to build it. Reflecting on his physical transformation for Thor, Hemsworth has opened up about his exhausting routine. While fans were excited to know Thor’s transformation secret, the actor reveals that it was exhausting and painful at a point.
Chris Hemsworth Says Physical Transformation for Thor Was Exhausting
While Chris Hemsworth’s physical transformation for Thor: Love and Thunder was admired by all, the actor had a rather tough time building one. Talking about this Hemsworth said that eating 4,500 calories a day was not an easy task.
However, to keep up with the demand the actor had to break it down to 10 meals a day. This helped him to complete the daily requirements as well as giving him enough windows to digest the food properly. Although despite adopting a proper technique Hemsworth agreed that the process of transformation was not easy. As reported by Insider, Hemsworth said “It was just exhausting. I don’t know, maybe I’m getting old, but things just started to hurt more.”
Further talking about this Hemsworth said that the target weight that he had for Thor: Love and Thunder was something that he had never done before which made it very difficult for him for the first time.
Chris Hemsworth Will Now Be Playing the Role of Villian in Furiosa
Chris Hemsworth aka Thor, the God of Thunder will now be seen playing the role of villain in the upcoming Mad Max: Road prequel, Furiosa. Apart from Hemsworth other stars like Anya Taylor-Joy will be seen stepping into the role inhabited by Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road.
Furiosa is said to be released on May 24, 2024 the production of the film will also see Yahya Abdul Mateen II and Tom Burke.
