Shawn Levy’s Deadpool and Wolverine is one of the most anticipated movies of 2024. Recently, the official trailer for Ryan Reynolds-led superhero project was released on YouTube. With  365 million views within 24 hours of its launch on YouTube, the trailer of Deadpool And Wolverine went on to create a record. Recently a Lego version of the Deadpool And Wolverine trailer has been doing the rounds of social media. Shawn Levy reacted to the trailer. He went on to share it on X and captioned it as

Ryan Reynolds wrote a heartfelt message on Instagram after completing the filming of Deadpool And Wolverine. His post on Instagram read as

“The suit hides blood. Also, sweat… But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears. A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes, and @thehughjackman… all under the stalwart leadership of @slevydirect” wrote the actor who plays the Merc with the Mouth. I got to make a movie with my closest pals and that doesn’t happen very often. See ya July 26th,”

The production of Deadpool And Wolverine was delayed due to the dual strike in Hollywood, but according to Shawn Levy the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes were no less than a blessing in disguise for him as the entire crew of Deadpool And Wolverine was pumped up with enthusiasm to work on the superhero project after the conclusion of the strikes.

Shawn Levy Talks About The Final Season Of Stranger Things

During the 76th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards, Shawn Levy dropped a cryptic message about the final chapter of Stranger Things. According to the media outlet People, he was nominated for the DGA awards for All The Light We Cannot See. While talking about Stranger Things, he said-

“If I was a fan who had nothing to do with Stranger Things, I would presume that the final season was going to be big in scale. But I’d also want to note that the heart and soul of that show, which is its characters, are intact and are as central as the spectacle. And indeed, they are,” 

He further added-

“I’ve never done a straight-up drama. I’ve never done a period piece other than Stranger Things — but that doesn’t really count because I was alive in the ’80s.”

During an interview with IndieWire in 2022, Matt and Ross Duffer, the sibling showrunners of Stranger Things even spoke about the character arcs of the sci-fi series. Matt Duffer said-

“We’re doing our best to resist [adding new characters] for season 5, we are trying not to do that so we can focus on the OG characters, I guess.”

Ross even mentioned-

 “We’ve got a great cast of characters here and actors, and any moment we’re spending with a new character, we’re taking time away from one of the other actors.”
